Finally!! My baby has arrived!!
He is so good in the house. I bought him a dog bed/pillow but it is not big enough for him so I layed down a Winnie the Pooh blanket and he loves it. When I go to bed I move the blanket to the bedroom and he sleeps right next to the bed. He loves food time and treat time - poor guy needs fattened up. His personality is amazing - very loveable!! You can instantly tell that all he wants is love and care....and naps in a good home. He is very happy to not be on the streets anymore. His coat is slowly improving. He does seem to be itching a lot but no sign of fleas. I am putting some safflower oil in his dog food to help his skin during these winter months. I hear it is supposed to be in the low sixties by Thursday so I think he will love that. Nice Ohio weather we are having lately...hopefully I will have some pictures tomorrow for all of you. Anyone out there in the Columbus, Ohio area know of a good vet? He needs his stiches out this week. And should anymore sheepies in the Ohio area need a good home, my parents are interested. They have a 7 year old female named Rosie. I just sent them pictures of the dogs in Illinois. Everyone have a great day!! |

How great that Monty is finally home!  You will find that even with the smallest amount of love and care, you will get a hundred-fold back! Can't wait for pictures!!

My husband just got off the phone with Jim and he said you brought your sheepie-boy home!  I am soooo happy for you and Monty. Congratulations and thanks so much for bringing him into your family. He must be so amazed at his good fortune.
And a great BIG thanks to Jim & Linda for their halfway house for homeless poochies! You give kids like Monty a safe and loving place to stay until they find their forever families. Good job! |
