I just wanted to introduce myself and my new little baby, Admiral Drake. We finally brought Drake into our family in Valentines day. I have been reading the forum since we first decided to bring Drake into our home over a month ago and have found it very fun and informative. Drake is 9 weeks old today and a happy well adjusted puppy. He never missed a beat on eating and sleeps through the night (except for he wakes me up and is ready to go at 5:30 in the morning and passes out after my boys leave for school). This actually works out well because it allows me to get some house work done. I have found that I have to baby proof my house all over agian and I hope that Drake is easier to potty train then my boys. Bringing Drake home has been just like bringing a new baby home. The worst part has been with my daughter and two boys fighting for Drakes attention, he sure misses the boys when they are at school. I just worry he is going to be a little too spoiled. Well I could go on and on but I guess I can save some for later. P.S. He got an A+ at his first vet visit and he was good as gold. |

Your new baby will just think of himself as another sibling. In no time he will be trying to win ALL of your affection, and the rivalry will begin!
Enjoy. You will be having to train them all, again and angain. Abbi was very easily trained, but we had to crate her for her own protection.
