If she's only scratching when she's in the grass, maybe she has an allergy. She's too young to be changing coats, so that shouldn't be it.

Thanks for asking Tammy. She has completely rebounded and is eating, drinking, and playing like she never ate those toxic hydrangea leaves. |
At 3 months old there shouldn't be any shedding or hair loss at all. Not even when you brush.
I would get the vet to check just in case. |
Maybe a blood test too for a thyroid condition? That can cause hair loss! |
The vet said it might be normal hair loss as new lighter colored hair is appearing and the skin is healthy looking. He said to continue to brush her and bring her back in a week. Okay to shampoo her. I am posting this to share my experience as I have learned so much from others taking the time to post.

I would suggest the thyroid test. She's way too young to be losing coat like that. |
