But I figure if it is going to be "mother nature's" way of saying something, then it would be better for me to spay her, they can check her out fully and see if we have an underlying issue that is not showing any symptoms. Her blood panel (broad spectrum) all came back normal, so we know she is healthy, and feel this must be hormone related. I do not think she has had a silent heat, she is with me 24/7. There is no symptoms to sugest she has something serious, but I will have everything checked out while she is sleeping so it's non-invasive. I'll let you all know what happens, if my vet can find out why. |

Sorry to hear that. I loved your puppies! I hope for the best and that you guys don't find anything wrong with her. |
Sounds like a thoughtful and wise decision. I hope everything checks out ok. |
JOAHAEYO" I LOVE YOUR NEW AVATAR, it's tooooooooo precious for words!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
I think so too, she is healthy and the obvious things all check out and she is cleared for breeding from that aspect, but can't breed if there is no cycle....so I am pretty sure spaying will take care of all the things that it could be. Most likely it's either estrogen or internal, I don't want to take the risk of it being something serious like a cyst.
Her blood work was checked for cancers, so we know it's not that. It can't be stress either, we have nothing going on that's stressful for her. Her weight is fine, steady, coat is fine, peeing and pooing is normal. I will have her spayed a week from now. |
