does anyone else have this problem? do you think its from playing in the snow, or do i really need to wash him every week? maybe its the shampoo the groomer uses? |

What does he smell of? I found that most of Woof's "doggie smell" actually came from the wax in his ears, so keeping them clean kept him fresh! Also plenty of fresh water in his bowl keeps the mouth nice and clean.... |
Abbi's ears and teeth were causing her to smell. I started cleaning them every week, and the smell disappeared.
I had a cocker who stunk, but her anal glands were always impacted. Had to learn to squeeze them out every month, yuck! My stadard poodle was a male and whenever he stunk, I would always check his hiney. He used to urinate on himself also, but he figured that out by the time he was 2. Mikey has a good ?, what does it smell like? |
Vivi had stinky ears - they smelled like burnt peanuts, yuck! We keep her ear hair trimmed and have the vet clean them and the smell is gone! But she also gets stinky in humid or rainy weather, its quite an odor. I either bathe her, or I put her in her cage, where she has a fan, and wait for her to dry, it's less noticable when she's dry. |
