I don't have a personal recipe to share. But I love the website epicurious and they had these
http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/find/ ... d+potatoes to try. |
I love parisienne potates roasted in butter, garlic, and rosemary. |
okay this sounds odd but is really really good....cube potatoes boil in UNSALTED water....seperate sauce pan add 4 or 5 slices of anchovies, 3 shallots, butter and evoo...melt all together...when potatoes are done, mash tates and add sauce, slowly under low heat add heavy cream till right consistancy...you can add any herbs at this point..you can also use some cream cheese instead of heavy cream......i like rosemary the best...goes great with any type of lamb or beef........ |

I think Darcy's been watching Rachel Ray. fI never knew what evoo was till I watched food network. I know an easy way to make roasted herbed potatoes and they are delicious. They sell this mix at the grocery store. It's made by Concord Foods and its called Roasted Potatoe seasoning mix. In our store they sell it in the produce dept. close to the potatoes. All you do is Preheat your oven to 400 wash 3 potatoes and cut lenghtwise in half. With cut side down cut each half lengthwise into 4 or more wedges.Place in large bowl. Then you mix 1 Tbsp. of seasoning mix with 1 Tbsp of vegetable oil and pour over potatoe wedges and toss till coated. Then you put on 13-9 Inch baking pan and bake 30-40 minutes turning after 15 minutes. Their delicious. I bet you could mix your own seasoning if you can't find it and do the same way. |
I have 2 good recipes...
Red baby potatoes Olive oil flat leaf parsley (chopped) rosemary (chopped) salt pepper red pepper flakes Boil the red potatoes until they are done. Then toss with a little olive oil, and the rest of the ingredients. Red potatoes OR yukon gold Olive oil Ranch seasoning packet water Preheat oven to 400 Cut the potatoes into cubes. In a bowl toss the potatoes with a little olive oil, the ranch packet, and some water (to loosen the mixture a bit). Spread on single layer on cooking sheet. Roast for about 20-25 minutes. |
okay, im caught...i love rachael ray, every day italian, and (im drawing a blank on her name) the southern older lady...its between that and HGtv.. |
Paula Deen!
I love all those guys too. They have so much personality but aren't too annoying. And they have good dishes, although I have to admit that I've never attempted anything of Paula Deen's because, while I love watching her cook with all that butter and mayo, I am a little scared of it! |
Yes..Paula Dean....Ive tried a few, and they are fantastic...bring on the real butter, mayo and fat......Lisa lives in Savannah now ...she and Tom tried to go to her resturant a while back and there was a 2 1/2 hour waiting list....Reservations are a must I guess.....the only one Brian likes watching is that every day italian...Giavania whatever...he says that she always wears a low cut top...only a man would notice that on a cooking show.... |
Cam and I went to Savannah and we were only there for a day so we saw the restaurant but it wasn't the right time of day to eat and then we wanted to get on the road the next day (we were driving from VA to CA)--little did I know he was on a schedule--he proposed 2 days later and had our parents flown in and everything!
yeah, the Everyday Italian girl definitely wears low cut shirts and Cam likes that too! |
