Another Book: Marley and Me
Marley & Me : Life and Love with the World's Worst Dog (Hardcover), by John Grogan. It's No. 15 on USA TODAY's list and "definitely the dog lover's book of the year". I haven't picked this one up yet as I don't like to pay so much for hard cover books. I'm going to try the local library. | I was browsing some older posts and found this brief one about Marley & Me : Life and Love with the World's Worst Dog (Hardcover), by John Grogan. I'm not sure if there is another post out there, so forgive me if there is, but I had to comment on this book!!!
I just read it, and it is fabulous  I highly recommend it for any dog lover! Marley is a loveable lab that has a rough time fitting into the human "does and don'ts"  but loves his mom and dad uprights with all his heart.  Honestly, the book made me laugh out loud and even cry a little - it was written really well.

| I've been carrying this book around in my briefcase for several weeks now. I finally had time to start reading it. I'm only about half way finished, but I've been laughing myself silly.
Every antic sounds so familiar! Hilarious. Wonderful read!  |

| Stacy........it's a great read,especially for dog lovers,I gave it to some of our "dog friends" for Christmas....it will make you laugh,it will make you cry,it's a heart-warming story that should have a wide appeal....run ,don't walk to get it and enjoy!!! |
| I recently read this book and it was great! The author, John Grogan, is a columinist for the Philadelphia Inquirer. I put his column in my favorites and read them sometimes. Several people here at work have read the book too. Our music teacher said he was reading it and started crying at the end and looked over at his dog who had come up to him and laid his head on his knee! The book is both funny and sad but I would recommend it to anyone! Right now, I have my copy loaned out to another person here at work. It's making the rounds! |
