Does anyone know about any microchip clinics in the PA-NJ-NY-CT area anytime this winter/spring? Not trying to be cheap, just trying to not spend as much $$ if I were to have it done at an alternate vet's office. I wonder if we could get enough interest to sponsor a clinic at some of these OES picnics that we all love to go to... ~Katie. |

That's a great idea Katie... you should suggest it to some of the rescues, perhaps they could fund or subsidize a microchip clinic? |
That's a great idea. We have it here for our Picnic, club & show days. Because they are doing quite a few dogs, there is a huge discount to the owners for having the chips put in. Australian Dollars at a Vet is about $80 on our chipping days it costs the owners $20 so there is a huge saving to be made and it encourages owners then to have there dogs tagged for life. |
Have you tried going to your local ASPCA or humane society. They usually charge by the area you are in but generally no more than $20 as well and they carry home again. If not I can probably get one from the humane society I volunteer at and mail it to you if you are ok with doing it yourself |
