Good job Holly! You can do it!! |
Go Holly..You can do it! |
Go Holly go! You can do this. It's been a lot easier than I thought. I know we talked about this at SheepieFest and decided some of us were just "born to smoke." But that's not true. And so what if you gain a few pounds? It will be easier to exercise if you don't smoke. HA! I better practice what I preach. *must insert dancing naner* |
That's great, Holly!! |
Sunday was the hardest, boy did I want a smoke I had the day off and only $20 in cash so I filled my gas tank....leaving no money for cigarettes and spent the day making fudge wreaths and cookies.
Tonight at 8pm will be one week |
Yeah Holly. There is a cool meter at www.silkquit.org. You download it to your task bar and fill in the info. It keeps track of how long you've been smoke-free, how many you haven't smoked, how much money you've saved, and how much time you've saved by not smoking. Sometimes it what keeps me going, seeing how many I've not smoked (which as of right now is 636!). |
You can do it Holly!!!!!
GO, GO, GO! We're all here to help! Lean, cry, rant, whatever you want. |
I quit 8 years ago ... seems like only yesterday.
At 2 packs per day.... 116,800 cigarettes 5,840 packs 584 cartons 233,600 minutes (2 minutes each?) 3,893 hours 162 days I have not spent smoking. In comparison, I've only slept about 20,000 hours (at 7 hours per night). What a waste of life smoking is. |
Keep up the good work, Holly! One day at a time . . . we're all behind you!
Chris |
I think it'd be more like 5 minutes each ? |
