Welcome to the forum
I would be careful with vitamin supplements. You want a pup to grow at a slow and steady rate, or else bones and joints may not grow evenly and can lead to problems. If you are feeding a good high quality food the pup shouldn't need supplements. |
I hoenstly wouldnt supplement your pup because it needs to first grow into its full figure first. I wouldnt supplement unless they are older and really need it. You can cause serious metabolic and electrolyte disturbances that really arent good. IF you are thinkign of supplementing ask your vet first before doing so and ask what they recommend. As pups they get all the nutrition and energy and vitamins they need in puppy food. |
Not sure if this is 100% related but in searching through various breeders I have ran across two already who will guarantee the dog for life but require that I supplement the dog's diet with NuVet vitamins. Does anyone have any experience with these vitamins? |
