| Yes, it says machine wash and dry!! Plus, I am not that picky. It is just wonderful to be able to stay outside and not feel at all cold. I love it! |

| Its beautiful. Down is so warm and yiou can't go wrong with L.L. Bean. I would have gone for "leaf" since I'm a pig-a-letta and would wear it to the barn. We are such fashionistas here. |

I like black but only white and green were available when I ordered. I figured white was more flexible -- could be worn over something fancy if necessary -- whereas green (nice color!) seemed more clearly casual to me. | Nice coat! I like the white. I have a similar coat...not as long as the one you got, but its also in white. (I also have a magenta one...it gets just as dirty as the white one)I just throw it in the washer when it gets dirty. It says your coat is also washable. If it is REALLY dirty you can use some "Amaze" detergent...and it will come out good as new. The trick when you dry it is to put in a tennis ball in the dryer with the coat and dont use heat to dry it...just put it on air dry or very low heat and you probably cant wash the fur on the hood...does it come off?

I forgot to mention the best thing about a down coat (besides the warmth) is that it isnt heavy.  |

| Nothing beats down for the dog park! I have an ankle length Steve Madden down coat that I wear with these funky moon boots and my snowboard gloves-- the last time I went I was so hot I actually had to take the gloves off for some air!
I know my coat has that nylon outer shell that just pretty much wipes clean-- does this one have that? If it does, it should look great and not be too hard to keep clean even though it's white. |
