Mommy to the rescue!

Last night, Steve forgot to pick up Annie's dog food at Petsmart. He's been working on a school project after work and has a lot on his mind so I can't really blame him. I don't check the large food bin as that's Daddy's job. He pours food from the large bag into a smaller tupperware container that I can handle.

Anyway, at 10PM last night Steve announced that Annie didn't have any food for the morning. He felt so badly! I heard him rummaging in the pantry to see what he could find. He came up with a sample of healthy dog food we had, but I mentioned we got it a year ago. There was no expiration date so I told him to throw it out. He kept saying, "what do we feed her". Mommy to the rescue! I woke up and put white rice on the stove, then realized I had 1/2 a leftover hamburger from lunch on Sunday. Annie could hardly wait for her awesome breakfast! She did many a sheepie hop. She'll be bummed to see her regular food tonight. What a letdown.

SHe's ticked at you know. WHen I run out of Bunkers food or if she is ill, she get pablum and baby food. She leans on me while I am mixing it up and stamps her feet. Sometimes I think she just makes herself ill for the baby Food.
Stacy! You're such a good sheepie mom!!!! They love when they get something special.

Lucky, lucky Annie!

Deborah, Pirate (when can we go to Annie's for dinner?) and Keira
Annie was so lucky!!!!! Panda doesnt do that happy food dance often enough..ususally its she sticking her nose in the bowl and then looking up at me with the....this junk AGAIN????
I've never run out of Clyde's food yet but Lucy gets a trip to Wendy's for a couple of double cheeseburgers when we run out, which she is required to eat in the car before we get home so Clyde doesn't see them. I think she wishes that we ran out of food more often!
A COUPLE of DOUBLE cheeseburgers from WENDY's???

The doubles are 1/2 pound of beef!

I want to move into your house!
Do you take the pickles off for her?

OH MY 8O This Cardiac Nurse really must have a talk with you!!!!!!!!!!
Ha Ha Ha, they always like people food better. Brie has just been to the vets this morning for her annual checkup and WELL on the scales, let's say no treats for her for awhile
Lol! I know, I know! It's not all the time and she loves them. She's a perfect weight and otherwise eats a good diet so she can afford to splurge every now and then. Boy, I didn't realize it was that much meat though-- I never eat Wendy's or beef for that matter.

She actually likes the pickles but I usually order them plain so I don't get ketchup and mustard all over the car. :)
Jill, I think it is so funny that you make her eat it in the car...I think most people would be like NO EATING IN THE CAR!
The ham and eggs have been mysteriously dissapearing from the fridge for the past two weeks that Danita stayed at home resting and the sheepies don't leave her side every time she goes into the kitchen.... I wonder where they went?
