can she track it down? if not do the company produce foods for the us market under a different name? breeder choice make a 100% allergen free dog food under the namw pinnacle in duck and potato or trout and sweet potato you can buy them online there are links from http://www.breeders-choice.com/shop/index.htm it about $42 for a 30lb bag which seems good to me as i pay £40 /$70 for 33lb bag of einys sensitive food don't know if that helps but i know what its like to have a sensitive sheepie |
Eukanuba Make Fish and Potato and Kangaroo and Potato, both are good for sensitive tummys and all that is in it is listed in detail
Another one I am using which is from the states is Eagle Pack has duck and oatmeal, fish ones etc. I have a dog that has beef & wheat allergies and this food is approved by the All Organics Association, excellant stuff and again everything is listed in it. Here is the link below for it. http://www.eaglepack.com/ |
Are you serius they make a dog food with Kangaroos? |
apparently they do just look it up on the web they did trials and everytihng for sensitive doggies |
Kangaroo meat is almost guaranteed not to produce an allergic reaction in dogs from everywhere except Australia. The reason for that is because most dogs have never been exposed to it, and therefore cannot be allergic to it. |
Yep, Kangaroo, also can get it fresh. Wonderful for dogs that have skin problems as well, the only thing makes them JUMP higher (only joking )
Another meat that is making an appearance is Venison (Deer) have to think about that one as I relate it to bambi!! Again low allergenic. Kangaroos is also served in restaurants for people too, tried in once and did not like it, too gamey in taste. Also with your friends upset tummy of her sheepie, coming from the UK to the states has she also thought about the change in water, that can cause problems too. Brie came from New Zealand, and I gave her bottled water, then started boiling tap water and gradually got her use to just straight out of the tap over a few months as I did not want any tummy upsets with the change in water from one country to another. |

Use Dick Van Patten's Natural Balance Duck and Potato. We have a dog with allergies and have found this to be excellent for his coat and tummy. We will have the same trouble going to the UK and will probably use Olympian. |
