ask willowsprite, ( stacey) shes lives there, I guess it depends what time of yr and where. |
Depends on what part of Canada and when....let me know I can help you |
Are you going to visit? LOL
Canada is huge, so I guess it depends on what province or territory you plan to visit. Also, are you more interested in a scenic holiday, or an active holiday? |
Stacey is in the eastern part of the Canada and I am on the western part where the Rockie Mountians are. |
I got two words for ya!!!!
NOVA SCOTIA!!!, we have it all.. beautiful beaches.. ocean and lake.. miles and miles of hiking trails..lots and lots of DOG FRIENDLY parks, outgoing friendly people.. quaint seaside villages, wonderful food if you like sea food, campsites, RV camping, lots of B&B's... tons of festivals in the summer time. Cape Breton is a beautiful island, rich with Scottish history. The highlands are awsome in the fall. Late July and early August are typically the hottest. I have attached a brochure "Desination Nova Scotia".. check it out. http://www.destination-ns.com/ You can travel to Bar Harbour Maine and take the high speed ferry "the Cat" to Yarmouth Nova Scotia. Yeah, I must say if I could go anywhere in Canada I would pick Nova Scotia.... |
Me too....Sounds like a wonderful place to live |
A trip to the Marintimes is a trip of a lifetime. You can drive thru New Brunswick where you MUST see the giant flowerpots in Fundy Park, then cross the bridge to visit Prince Edward Island, then take the ferry back to Nova Scotia and drive around Cape Breton Island. It can all be done in a few days if you take your time. You must go deep-sea fishing and get sea-sick, and go clam-digging, and eat lots of lobster. I've lived in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia and have family to visit often in PEI. The absolute best vacation... |
We forgot Whale Watching...... |
Ok, lets all plan a trip to Dudster's! LOL |
No matter where you go I'm sure you'd enjoy the visit, although I'm sure the East Coast would be an amazing holiday. West Coast is nice too. I'm in British Columbia so if you decide to come to that side of the country be sure to tell me. Canada is the second largest country in the world but only has a population of aprox 33 million people (gasp! can you imagine San Paulo the city in Brazil has over 70 million in their city!) Beautiful scenery, friendly people..hey you could say that about this forum too!
http://www.trailcanada.com/ Marianne and the boys <<wants to go the visit Nova Scotia too some day! |
Alberta is great for the scenery esp if travel through the mountains...gorgeous, and aweinspiring...lots to do. Maligne Canyon is a fun place to stop, do some hiking etc. There is Hot Springs too...around Jasper/Banff.
Edmonton has the largest shopping mall in the world. Huge waterpark, indoor amusement park, golf, shopping, food, movies, lots of kids places (Kidtropolis), ice arena. Under one roof...google West Edmonton Mall. Saskatchewan...north sask anyways has some really beautiful lakes, my personal favorite is Kimball Lake, Meadowlake provincal park. Best spot for camping, beautiful white sandy beach...resort like. |
