Happy Thanksgiving!!  It's 3:30 a.m. and I just got up to start cooking. We're going to a company party. Hope everyone gets the longer piece of the wishing bone!!! My favorite thing to do!
Mr. Joah was up all night making his famous norwegian cucumber dish, and now I'm responsible for dessert (pumpkin cake w/a yummy white glaze, pumpkin macadamian cookies, pineapple cookies, and snickerdoodles in the shape of turkeys), for his ENTIRE unit. |

I've got the turkey in the oven. The ham bone is simmering just waiting for those fresh greens and I'm making that yummy sounding mac & cheese recipe that Zahra posted. Then, packing everything up & heading to Mom's! You're right George -I'm thanking God for all my blessings - and I'm hugging my babies and telling them how very thankful I am they're in my life.

Did anyone else see the OES on the Today Show about 40 minutes ago? They were showing a few of the best breeds and how to enter your dog (at some website) and they showed a stunning OES! |

| Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!! I saw the OES on the Today show...just beautiful...Im all ready..made chicken liver pate, stuffed shrimp wontons, clam dip, and stuffing...just got to get myself cleaned up for the inlaws and their turkey breast...lol |

| Happy Thanksgiving everybody!!!! We had dinner with some friends, it was a lovely day!! I was up at 3:00 AM too, making pies!!!! But worth the fun. Now we are home and tired and the PUPS want to PLAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's BITTER COLD here, about 12 degrees with a blustery wind and snow snow snow, more like JANUARY than November!!!!!!!!!!! But before that I have to call family (kids and siblings and my dad to wish them holiday cheer) THEN wqe can crash infront of the fire place. A perfect night to curl up in front of the fire!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
