Petey is one of the worst cases I have seen in the past few years. This Dog was both starved and has SEVERE Mange over 90% of his body. | Michelina, I hope you don't mind, I have posted this post on an Australian OES web site, It covers all of Australia and all the state oes breed clubs. Hopefully there will be bids coming from Australian OES enthusiast for this item on E-bay to help Petey. |
| I don't mind....To be honest, anything to help this particular OES in need. There are OES in need all over the world, but this guy is just unreal....
I can't believe he made it in the condition he's in thus far. Everyone at Texas rescue are angels as far as I'm concerned. I believe they may be setting up a paypal account for donations, but I'm not 100% so please don't quote me on it. I'm not affiliated to one particular rescue. I like to help whichever, whenever, wherever and whoever!!! This guy needs to be heard.... It's been two days since I've read his story and I still can't believe the courage this guy has to LIVE! He WANTS to be here after all he's endured... I can't even begin to think of how much pain he is in!!! P.S. There is a donation address if you did want to send in a donation to this rescue. | Michelina, Sorry I did my last post and forgot to log in, am fairly new to this site. I have been away for 3 days on holiday and was so excited to get back and see what the auction price is so far. Wow so great for petey.
He has caused a lot of comment in australia and everyones heart has gone out to this special boy, some have bidded for the item from Australia, so we have to wait and see who wins this special bid for petey. Hoping also that private donations will flow on too. What a special boy and a big thankyou to you also on your generousity and kindness in spirit of your wonderful artwork in aid of Petey. |
| There are many OES across the country that need homes, shelter, and LOVE. Petey is just one statistic. Everyone at TXOESR are great folks. They are the true angels to be taking in rescues and caring the way they do.
There are many rescues across the country that I've had the pleasure of working with over time. I have gotten a lot of emails from people thanking me for doing this for Petey, and to be honest, TXOESR deserves all of the applause. I have to say welcome to the site...It's really informative here and everyone is very nice. Loads of topics and information on the breed. I had a great welcome wagon. I'm fairly new here myself.
