This is Killing Me! Another Property!
Soooo I've now bid on this one....but it already has an offer on it too..so like the first have to wait and see...I find out on Friday if they got it..if not..not maybe I have a chance. This one has less property..but the house/cottage is livable. Still the home is not what attracts me the most..I would love to own land for that some day forever home for aged dogs and cats. Once I sold my house (in a few years) then I would build a permanent home there. It's the only way I can do it at this time ..buy something affordable to hold for a few years until I was ready to move. Wish I could win the lotto as I'd buy the 23 acres that is also for sale on that Island or my dream house seen on the website located at the bottom of this page. Ah well...little steps first. Here's this one and the next is the house I would love to own but can't afford....that one has five acres and loads of room for sheepies, cats...and other creatures. The second house is much like most of the houses around here lately. A bit higher priced, but about the same size house. Wouldn't like to pay the mortgage on THAT one! Chris |

I'll keep my fingers,eyes and legs crossed that perhaps I can get this place afterall. Would have the property to hold until I was ready to move to the Island permantly in the near future. Eventually, I would sell my house on the Coast and build a permanent home on the property as I'd be hard pressed to live in a cottage with 3 dogs, 4 cats and other critters..LOL..(Only one bedroom). Still...if it meant eventually having a place to house aged dogs/cats I could do it for a year or two! Zoning bylaws on the Island state you can't have a "animal shelter" unless you have 5 acres or more. That other place is way beyond my means at the moment anyhow..but has 5 acres. Luckily, there is no limit to the amount of "personal pets" one can have as does my city which has a limit of 2 dogs. Dunno why the other place is going for that price as on that side of the Island all the places go for triple the price..but anyhow above my budget, regardless. Funny...well not funny..but karma perhaps? The job I mentioned I was offered out of the blue, minutes after hanging up the phone with the morgage broker. Well, been doing that nightly as it was for 2 hrs every evening..great hours 7-9 pm teaching well to do boys English from Monday to Friday. It pays exactly the same as what a second morgage would cost me!!!!!!!! Okay I'm tired taking on a second job ..but I'm still in awe that it came out of nowhere, even tho I had no contact with this school for 2 and 1/2 years and the pay was enough to pay for another morgage. Not even telling you guys about it to brag as I'm still in awe that it occurred...so thinking that good karma was happening as the need wasn't based on greed but an ulterior purpose. I really dislike driving late at night and the road I have to take is really dark and isolated to get to my destination. I also am a bit tired after working all day and having to motivate myself to leave every evening. Still, I keep visualizing all those seniors currently in shelters and that's my motivation. If I don't get this place..not going to give up..just save my pennies to make it a reality someday. A new found friend recently sent me a vid/song of dogs which is very powerful ( I just posted it in Dogs in Trouble) ..seeing that is the greatest motivator. Thanks for listening to me ramble.
