Hello from Texas
I live in North Texas about an hour from Dallas. I moved here from Oklahoma City about 3 years ago. I am originaly from the Ukraine and came to the US to go to the university, that was 11 years ago. This is my home now. My sheepie Tommy, who sadly passed away in august of this year, I had him for 10 years. An ex-boyfriend bought him for me and it was the best gift ever.He was 6 month old when we got him.I told myself that I wouldn't get another sheepie after Tommy, but I can't seem to stop thinking about him and consider getting another one. Right now I also have 2 dogs and two cats. Rusty, who is a mut and came to our yard one day to chew on one of Tommy bones and has been here since. Booger, a Boston terrier bulldog, we got her when she was about 2 month old from a friend. Two male cats, Boots and Fat Tammy( who we thought was a female at first ) so the name stayed and then he got fat after being neutered.We have had them for 3 years. I started feeding them at the apartment where I lived and when we moved we took them with us. We is me and my boyfriend. This is a great site.I really enjoy reading all the posts and looking at all the pictures.Thank you for a place that I look forward to every day! Tanya |

Yes, the mind starts to wander back to sheepie hugs and kisses, doesn't it? It took Joan and me about 6 months before we were ready to think about another dog. We wound up fostering for 4 months, and then it took another 7 or 8 months before we were ready again. |
