Our OES, Annie, is a little over 8 years old and she came into our lives about 2 1/2 years ago. Annie had a family for the first few years of her life that didn't work out due to family circumstances. For the life of me I can't imagine why anyone would give her up. She came back to live with her reputable breeder who also showed OES. I speak with the breeder on a regular basis via email and send pics. My understanding is that Annie had several beautiful babies herself, most with big beautiful blue eyes just like Annie's. It took Annie less than a day to decide that my husband and me were her new family. She bonded with us right away and I couldn't possibly love her more. I was an only child and grew up with 2 OES so I know how much love and companionship they provide. Having and OES of my own has always been something I've wanted. I'd love to have more OES, but Annie enjoys being an only "child" and doesn't always play well with others. I need to do what's best for her, not for me. She still acts like a puppy, is very exuberant and full of life. Last November we moved to a house from a condo. We all have adjusted well and Annie loves her fenced backyard and "talking" to people walking down the street. Well, don't want to drone on and one...you'll be hearing from us. I'll try to figure out how to post pictures, but the instructions look a little complicated. Please let me know if you have any tips. Thanks! |

I've posted pictures on Annie. They are in the 2nd Misc folder. More in the future. |
Annie is GORGEOUS!! Those eyes! That smile! Wow!!! What a stunner. Thanks so much for sharing your pictures. After some of the other recent sad posts, your pics brought a huge smile to my face. |
She does have beautiful eyes! Great pics |
Thanks! That's our baby. She's at the groomer again today getting beautiful. We take her once a month as Steve and me both have environmental allergies. We find that it helps us all when she is clean. She goes to the beauty shop more than I do! How frequently do your pooches get groomed?
I read the story last night about Lucy and cried. I feel terrible for the women who took her in and felt their pain. It's just a freak accident an really noone's fault. Just so awful... |
Stacy, just looked at your pictures. Annie is just adorable!!! I love your avatar too....dont they just look too cute with bows in their hair? My husband thinks she looks like a sissy, but every now and then, I just have to do it....lol |
They're little girls so they need to look pretty! Actually my husband likes when Annie has bows in. He gets annoyed when people assume she's a "he". Must be his male pride! He even requested that I find her a new collar with "girlie" colors as the one we originally had was red, green and yellow. So now her collar is pink, purple and red. |
Hi,
My three "boys" are all drooling over Annie's photo..they think she's so beautiful. You must be pretty special too offering her a forever home..good for you!! I have no doubt you've love the time spent here , friendly people, good conversation and of course the adorable photos! Marianne and the boys |
