peeing on front paw

I have a problem with Richi, he started lifiting his leg (finally) and being a goofy sheepie 1/2 of the stream ends up on his front paws. It is fun to watch but it is becoming somewhat of a problem It stains his hair and it smells of course, so I have to wash his feet almost daily.
Any suggestions how I can break this behavior.
thanks

Sorry, I don't have any advice on how to break the habit, only can offer sympathy. Pud does the same thing. I can offer advice though, put a pan of water by the door and get him in the habit of letting you wash the front feet before going in the house. I keep a rag in the bucket, that way you don't have to saturate the feet, just give 'em a good once over.
im definitely guilty of moving walters front paws forward mid-pee
A little off topic, but the crazy stuff these guys do makes me think of the movie Anchor Man. Ron is talking to his dog Baxter.

"What do you mean you ate a wheel of cheese? And you went to the bathroom in the refrigerator? No, I'm not mad, that's AMAZING!"
Sorry, another quote:

"Baxter, bark twice if you're in Milwaukee!"

I am guilty of holding my guy in place with his leash as he poops. He likes to squat, walk and smell. Focus on the job at hand man! That smell will be there when you're done!
thanks everybody. Richi is already trained to wait by the enterance for me to whipe his feet off. I guess I'll just have to try moving his front paws forward when he is weeing
tuc still hasnt gotten the hang of lifting his leg yet.......lol he tries, but either is still moving when he tries to lift and almost falls over, or just kinda stretches his leg out a little, the one i love is where he sniffs, finds his spot, then backs up to it to squat lmao
The Gooch peed on his front paws for a while, he has seemed to grow out of it! :D Now he pees like a girl with his end really low to the ground! 8O Well whatever works!
When I babysat Sky's brother Frazzle I noticed that he smelled more than the girls, and a lot of it was because he got droplets of pee on himself. I never got around to trying it, but I think someone suggested to me at the time a foaming shampoo that you don't have to rinse out. I have some foaming hand sanitizer that can be rubbed in and doesn't need to be rinsed, something like that would work better than a gel I think for long fur.
Just like the guys, don't lift the seat and leave it to us girls to clean up the mess. Sorry, guys.
I just watched Jack pee on his front leg. His bladder was super full so I guess he decided to do the boy squat instead of a leg lift. Then to top it off, his back foot stepped in the big puddle as he was leaving. boys.
