Round them up!

I was folding the laundry in my carpetted living room, with Bosley lying close by me. I was also watching TV so didn't have my eyes on him for a few minutes. When I glanced over to him I noticed that he had moved. He was a few feet away from me sniffing at something. I double checked and he had two stuffed toys with him. All the toys are kept down the hall in the family room, and it may have been his first time in the living room, as we hardly use the room. He had quietly disappeared down the hallway to get the two toys and bring them in. He was nudging them over to each other, then looking at them, then he was circling them, nudging them etc. I had no idea what was going on his mind, but it looked like he was trying place them in a certain way, or get them to move, or something. Then I finally came to the possible conclusion that he might have discovered that they didn't "push" as well on the carpet as they did on the hardwood floors. Poor dear. I need to get him out more! (Or I maybe I need to get a life )

herding stuffed animals!!! how adorable! :D
Oh how cute, love the story
Kisses to Bosley, that is soo cute!
You've got a very inquisitve dog which is great. That means BRAINS unlike the duds I have here. Take advantage of this and train this dog: agility, therapy, obedience, and especially herding. Keep finding ways to stimulate this dog....perhaps teaching to put toys away?!
Hi,

I could visualize the event occurring while you told the story. How heart warming and adorable that must have been!! No wonder Sheepies are so wonderful to have around.

Thanks for sharing this story
Marianne and the boys
He does the tunnel, and will jump through a low hoop, but he is too young really for much jumping yet. I am going to some weave poles with him, but I am very interested in herding. They have herding instint tests every once and a while, with some real sheep. Do sheepies herd, really? I always thought that he did more of hte drove time jobs, keeping them in line while taking them to the market etc. as opposed to running real fast, and being quick, while getting the sheep all together. Sorry, but my Bosley doesn't seem to be quick, and analytical enough to figure out what a sheep is planning to do next
But when we are outside he often bumps into us, like I thought they would do to sheep while being driven down the road (driven meaning guided, not like in a car)
LOL... too cute! :)
