She's beautiful - and she has a tail!! I hope someone can take her soon!

Maybe Second Chance could rescue this girl until a home can be found. Sad situation for both the dog and the owner |
This girl is still there. I did read that they limit the number of days before euthanized. Can someone tell me who to contact? |
brief related rant:
1- sheepdog owners, be mature and aware of the restrictions on your pet size/allowed breeds in your apartment. hiding a dog that can weigh up to 100 or more pounds is a bit like hiding illegal immigrants in your apartment, sooner or later, it will be found out, so either find a place that you can have the dog, or do not have it until you own a place. 2- renters, be nice, come on sheepdogs are not pitbulls and are not destructive by nature, it took me 4 months of searching to find an apartment that allowed my sheepie, Jack, just because he is 90 lbs. thank you. [/rant] |
In a way, I think those pictures do her a disservice. Somehow you see too much of her current environment. I like the outdoor shots or close ups because it is easier to imagine the dog in your life. Kind of like real estate "staging" -- need to remove the personal elements for people to feel at home with the dog. Just my two cents, not really relevant to anything. |
if nothing else, it shows she's comfortable with people. |
Just talked to the shelter and Baby has been adopted......Kaye |
YEAH! Thanks for following up and letting us know, Kaye. |
Hooray! That's great. Good point re comfort with people. I guess I hadn't realized those shots were at the shelter. Looked like someone's dorm room to me. Anyway, I'm happy for the good news. |
