No, I Didn't Get Married on the Cruise!
I missed you guys too and thanks for some of your comments regarding Panda's bathtub antic. What a dog!! Always makes me laugh! I didn't go ahead and get married after all...my boyfriend arrived from Holland and we went on the cruise together along with 250 other magicians. One of them got on his knees and proposed to his girl so we didn't want to steal the moment from them. Kaj went back to Holland yesterday while I remained in Canada while we still decide who is going to move to what country. I know he's a keeper however, as when I mentioned it's gonna be tough getting all three of my dogs on the plane as well as the cats he didn't flinch. He knows that not only is he getting me but Merlin, Panda, Blue, Lil Girl, Mama Kat, Daisy, Paris, Puff and Squeak as well as my two sons, Todd, and Blair. Five years he's patiently waited while he makes trips across the world every couple months to see me. The next time it will be my turn to go to Holland during spring break as I finally found a kennel that took really good care of my boys while I was away on the cruise. Planning on doing that in March. Sigh can you imagine? We've been doing this for five years...but I'm sure all the wives of those in the armed forces can relate to long seperations. He and the boys (four legged ones) had a chance to bond the last week while I was at work and he stayed home with them. My two upright boys were away as well. Panda stole his heart the most as he did the girls whom operated the dog kennel. I love all three furballs but Panda definately has an edge on the lovability factor. I never tire of praising his loving nature to anyone that listens as of course it helps that my mantra is Love me , Love my dog(s), cats, rabbit and ginea pig and my two uprights. LOL So that's my ramble and now I have a lot of catching up to do with your stories and photos. Chat will you all soon!! Marianne and the boys |

WOW, what an adventure. I'm sorry you guys decided not to get married right then. That was very thoughtful to care so much about your friend's moment! You have amazing patience!!! 
That's also great that your SO loves your animals and vice versa! Well I assume they all loved him too. That would definitely be something I looked at as well!!

| I was disappointed to see b/friend in your Panda bath post. I really figured you'd go ahead and take the plunge. To heck with being nice and not stealing thunder, just be selfish and do it all for you! (Like you could ever be selfish!!!!!!!!!)

Very sweet of you to wait like that. Your B/F sounds like a great guy if the furballs approve of him. Mine are great character judges. Long distance is very hard. I'm sure when you decide to get married, it will be wonderful! |
