warning for messy drinkers
Our one year old rescue, Fozzy, coughed a little bit on Saturday, but seemed otherwise ok. We heard him cough more during the night, and when he wouldn't touch his breakfast at 4:00 am, we rushed him to the er fearing he had an obstruction. Chest exrays showed he has pneumonia. He is now being treated at the clinic with iv antibiotics and oxygen and we don't know if he is going to make it. The vet thinks he might have inhaled water, and the dish was the only place this could have happened. He was fine on Friday and is up to date on all his shots, a healty, eneregetic pupppy. Please, everyone, pray for his recovery. I just lost my Dad two weeks ago and I just can't lose anything else right now. All you guys with sloppy drinkers might want to change to a shallow dish |
