Chris Christensen shampoos?

Have any of you used the Chris Christensen line of shampoos or other treatments? I've tried several different brands and haven't been too happy with the results. I was thinking about trying it since I have to order some brushes from there.

Hi Angel & Mojo,

Nelson and I just returned from the National Specialty and there were a lot of Christiansen brushes in use there. Also, #1 All Systems. As far as the shampoos, I have never used them but wouldn't hesitate to give one a try. In Lancaster there were lots of Christiansen products on the grooming tables. One that was especially recommended was the no-rinse shampoo for beard stains. (boy, did we need that!)

Mojo's coat is soooo thick! What works for him may not work for Nelson, etc.. Also the water quality has a lot to do with what shampoo works best.

BTW, Nelson graduated from Manners I class but didn't get his diploma. Laura said it was because she was having computer problems and couldn't print it out but we're kinda wondering if maybe....
Congrat to Nelson!! :) I knew he would do it.
Thanks for the info.
Ohhhh that site is gonna be bad for my bank account I can tell! LOL
Is this the same guy who breeds champion Maltese's? ....specializes in whitening shampoos as well? The guy in my head also has a line of brushes and such. Posts/helps sponser a site I go to for ...uh maltese.
Angel - did you get a shampoo from Chris Christensen? Did you like it? I was about to order some and wanted to see what your experience was.

I need a really good shampoo to combat this red clay we have here in NC. My dogs can't seem to resist finding the one place where there is no grass and wrestling around in it. Their coats are stained and I can't seem to get them clean/white/grey.

His website is informative. He uses an OES as an example in the product section for Ice on Ice. Details on what products to use and how to use them. I'm very intrigued! :D
Tammy
I ended up just ordering their brushes.
I started using a shampoo from a groomer.
It is Groomax Professional. He is nice and white and his fur is much more managable but, I have know idea how it would do on the clay.
Sorry
Thanks for letting me know. I think I'm going to order some and try it. Has to be better than what I've gotten locally. I'll let you know if it works. :D
THEY'RE HERE!!!

I get so excited when UPS comes.

The Chris Christensen shampoo, conditioner and detangling spray I ordered are here. I cannot wait to go home and try them out!

One of the "Testimonials" on their website was from a woman in the foothills of NC bragging about how it got out RED CLAY stains!! I'm sooooo excited to try it!! My babies may actually be white again!!

I'll take before and after shots so we'll all know how well it works. :D
Yeah!
Can't wait to see how it works.

Looking forward to the photos after the bubble bath!

"I'm going wash that Red Clay out of my hair!!"
I used the Chris Christenson shampoo and conditioner and really liked it. I need to place another order as I am about out. I have diluted both in spray bottles. During the summer (and when in a really short coat) I spray the Ice on Ice leave in detangler as it contains sunscreen (an added bonus!). I also ordered a pin brush and it works really well.
Here they are. Let me first say that my princess was NOT being very cooperative with the photos. So, they're not the best.

Here she is before. Note the red clay stains on her head and if you can see it...her leg at the bottom right of the photo.

The photos really don't do it justice. Her whites are the best they've been since I got her. I was very impressed. This was just with one shampooing. It says to repeat for persistent stains. I'm sure with regular use, it'll get much better.

I forgot to take pics of Beau. Sorry!
I think now I'll order the Black on Black for his gray. It's got red/brown streaks from getting too much sun this summer. I'll keep you updated! :D
Wow! That is impressive!
Thanks, Stacey. I thought so, too. I'd definitely recommend it. Their Ice on Ice product is fantastic for grooming. It's supposed to help repel dirt. I'll know more about that when I get home this evening.
Ha ha, nice before & after photos. I use Christiansen's "White on White" Shampoo and it really works great. Haven't tried any of the other product s besides the Day to Day shampoo but I will at some point since I love the shampoo so much.
Wow! The White on White really worked its magic, Gen looks
just terrific! So glad you found something that takes
out the red clay staining !

Nice grooming job there Tammy!!

Gen looks tired after the bath!
Wow, that stuff really works, she looks great!
Thanks, Zahra & Holly. I am very impressed with the products. I have lightly sprayed the Ice on Ice on them both each evening as I brush them and it has made a big difference in their coats. Overall, they're much cleaner (repels the dirt) and very easy to brush (matt resistant).

Thanks Tammy,

Good tip, I'll order some Ice on Ice !

Especially with winter storms coming, need to stay out in front
of the potential matt scene! :D

Thanks!
wow!! Ill have to try it!!!! looks great!! and look how well behaved she is in the tub!
