Judi a wonderful lady from the rescue society called and informed me that the very day Bandit had suddenly taken a turn for the worst and had to be put down after all methods had been tried at the vet's office. Using her own money Judi had gone over and above the call of duty and tried to make Bandit's short time on earth a comfortable one. I was saddened by the news of Bandit's passing, yet at the same time feel comfort that if not by some twist of fate I may have met and adopted her the very day of her passing. Nope, Bandit was in the home she had known for the last two months of her life where Judi loved and cared for her. She was where she was meant to be and although I had missed my chance in meeting her I'm glad I knew of her and that Judi looked after her so well the last months of her life. Goodbye Bandit and may you be now racing around doggie heaven with not a care in the world and no more ills.Judi, you are truly a special person to have made this old girls last months happy ones. OES rescue people are truly a special breed! Marianne |
