I just wanted to pass on a "Zoe" story. We lost Zoe in October after a 6 month battle with Lymphoma. She was 4 1/2. Just after we moved to California we lost Lizzie to bone cancer. I purchase a cement OES statue and have it in my yard and at the base of it are Lizzie's ashes. When I did the garden I put a garden light on the statue. Well, my electrical skills could use some work and the lights in the garden, including this one, have not worked in quite some time. No matter what I did, they woould not come on. Zoe passed on 10/26 and on that night the light on the statue came on. None of the others in the yard worked, only that one. It stay lit, day and night, for exactly 2 weeks and then clicked off. I haven't been able to get any of them to work since. It was like Zoe was saying goodbye |

What a great story!
Good luck on your search for a puppy in Southern California. If you're of a mind, there's a great rescue program there... Thanks for sharing your story with us -- it tugs at the heartstrings. |
Hi,
Ron is correct your story did tug at the heartstrings...and made me teary eyed. Yet, what a wonderful story and I wish to thank you for sharing it with all of us at this site. Left me with a feeling of awe. Marianne |
