They attend quite a few dog shows and trade shows. They make the tables themselves, I am considering getting one of the adjustable tables... www.Sett-R-Rite.com |

Not familiar with it, but they look nice... the legs don't look as sturdy to me though.... |
An adjustable table would be a great idea. My table is too tall for me to use...I'm 5'3" but just right for hubby to use he is 6'3".
The legs look similar to the table we have... the one we have is hard to close..I guess that is a good thing |
Zahra-
I have an electric table I swear by. It gets low enough for Daisy and the boys to step up on and I can adjust it to the height I want for sitting or standing. I got an oversize top so even Beau (112 lbs) feels confident on it. |
I use my old massage table for grooming, very comfy for them although by the looks at some shows, it would take up about 2 tables lengths of space and im sure thats not allowed |

I'd always wondered about using a massage table too. My friend was a massage therapist and was trying to sell hers before she moved to NYC and I thought about using it for that purpose but I knew I'd wind up with it in my living room and giving massages! |
I have a Sett-r-rite table and am very happy with it. Very sturdy, adjustable and has a nice non-slip surface. The guy that made the table is used to showing big dogs so I think he did a great job working out the quality details. |
Thanks so much for everyones comments on the
grooming table options......... We are going to go with the Sett-r-rite table, wish I had room for the electric table! Verveup, thats great, wanted to hear directly from someone who had one. For the price difference I feel its a good deal for one made by a family owned company and not mass produced.... Thanks again! |
Congrats on getting a new table, Zahra!
It looks like a really good one! |
if you haven't ordered it yet, get it personalized. they offer a brass plate with kennel name or yours and your dog's name or you can even have photos in the top surface. these are the most stolen tables because they are so great. you will love it!!!!! (it's just not electric). you are among the elite with a sett r rite grooming table. and it's nice that you can call and order your color and surface. they are wonderful to deal with. Happy Grooming |
I got a Sett-R-Rite table for Christmas and love it! It's 42" length with the adjustable height legs. They are extremely sturdy and the table does not wobble at all. Having the adjustable legs is great for those long grooming sessions where it's easier to sit on a stool and work. The top on mine is highly-textured, no slipping or sliding dogs! I also got the grooming post with the double clamp. It's a great setup, sturdy and lightweight. Would recommend to anyone looking to buy a grooming table. (no, I don't work for the company and this is not a paid ad.

How can I find these Sett-R-rite tables. I try the web site and get nothing. |
I heard that they are no longer made. Someone said they sold out to another company but I don't know who or if that's even true.
There are similar tables sold that do have adjustable height and molded tops that won't delaminate like plywood topped tables. This one is from Groomstar: http://www.groomstar.com/index.asp?Page ... ProdID=579 They are pricey but so was my Sett-R-Rite. I especially like the cutouts for shears on the Tuff Top table. |

I recall seeing advertisements on the Sett R Rite web site trying to sell their business. I wonder why too that they are gone. I love my table. That Tuff Top table looks great, especially with the hole cut-outs. I can't even count how often tools fall off of the table while grooming. |
Oh that is a cool table. I like those cutouts for tools. |
