Oil to cover lg frying pan that has cover 1 cup sliced onion 3/4 cuo catsup 1 tb brow sugar 2 ts paprika (I use more like 2 tbs) dash of cayenne (I use 1/4 ts) 2 lbs of chuck cut into chunks 1 clove Garlic 2 tb worcestershire sauce 1 ts salt or to taste 1/2 ts dry mustard 1 2/2 cups water wide noodles cooked add meat, onion,and garlic to oil. cook till meat is brown and onions are tender. stir in catsup, worcestershire,sugar,salt, paprika, mustard, cayenne and water or to cover. simmer for 2 to 2 1/2 hrs. server over noodles.. I always double everyting but the beef and it works great. feed family of 4 or now get 2 meals out of it. I have been useing this close to 30 yrs. IT's GOOD I have to honest I don't measure |

Thanks, Deana. It sounds yummy! Have to laugh, I usually don't measure anything either. Gets my daughter so mad when I make spaghetti sauce, cause she says - now how am I supposed to learn how to keep the tradition going if don't know how much stuff to put in? I say - you just add some and taste, add some and taste! That's the way my mother taught me!

your welcome chris, after I posted it I was getting ready for dinner and forgot to add this...... I take some flour and water to make the sauce thicker, to me it was to thin to stick to noodels. My husband loves this dish.
