I spoke with Darcy today and they are having a wonderful time at the Beach. Panda has not gone to the beach yet... They would like to take her though. There is a dog beach in Del Mar but they don't know where. They might just take her to the regular beach after the lifeguards leave 
Darcy wanted me to say hi to everyone... So.... HI Also wanted to let you all know she is having withdrawals from the forum. By the end of her vacation she will probably shaking and saying.....computer, computer, HELP...I need the Internet!!! lol I am planning on meeting her on Sunday. Elissa |

When you talk to Darcy again, tell her that the dog beach in del mar is right by the del mar fairgrounds (or the del mar racetrack--same place). It is across the street from it (obviously on the ocean side). To get there from Oceanside, they can either take the freeway I-5 south and get off at Via de la Valle and turn right and follow that street until it dead ends and turn left (on the left corner should be the Brigantine restaurant--GREAT for happy hour...)(it should be Camino Del Mar that you are turning left onto (I think it is Camino Del Mar to the left and Highway 101 to the right kind of street) and the dog beach is pretty much immediately to the right once they have turned. The other way to get there is to Highway 101 South the entire way (it will go along the water so it's prettier) and it will take you through Carlsbad, Encinitas (Darcy will get to look at pretty surfer boys), and then to Del Mar... Tell her HI for me! Have fun when you see her... |

| Hi All,
Today Hayley & I drove down to Oceanside to spend the day with Darcy. Panda has been very well behaved (except she pooped in the apartment today...first time) and she loves the ocean. Darcy took pictures. She said she ran right in. 
Brian ended up coming back early so I got to meet him. I was getting ready to leave and ran inside to use the bathroom. When I got back Darcy was all excited and wide eyes looking down the street. I walked over and she said look and Old English Sheepdog. I look down the street and see Brian and Panda chatting with a woman and her OES. Darcy & I quickly made our way down to them. The woman's dog was a beautiful 6 year old rescue. Darcy & I told her how we met...even gave her the web address. She didn't seem to interested though. But of course like every OES owner was happy to talk about her dog. Darcy required me to give her a full update on what has been going on here...lol We all had a great day at the beach.

| Okay all...Im back!! I had a great time!!! Panda was perfect..except for the one poop incident....I think she was getting back at Brian for leaving her for a few day....lol...She loved the water...she did actually dive into the water chasing seagulls!!!! Ill post the pics as soon as B comes back with the camera....( i had too much stuff and wouldnt fit) So at least I know I didnt scar her too much this summer with the pool episode...lol..Elissa and I had a great time...and of course I have to mention that Hayley was an absolute angel!!! Brian thought she was really to cute (but not cute enough to have another one)lol....and good ..it was a perfect beach day!!! When Elissa and I talked to the other sheepie lady we thought she would be very excited about the web site, but on her behalf she did say that she had 5 kids.......oh well....

I was just thinking YESTERDAY, when does Darcy get back!!!!! and here you are!!!! Welcome back We missed you!!!! Of course I've been busier than a cat covering poop in a ltter box and have barely had time to skim the titles but glad to see you back safe and sound!! |

Thanks for inviting me. We had a great time. We got stuck in some traffic on the way home and it took 2 hrs but I didn't mind the traffic after my nice relaxing day at the beach
