Awwww... he'll get over it. It's ok to forgive yourself, too! You did the right thing.

Keep us posted on his progress daily, then you'll have a record to look back and see how he's progressing!

(It may also help others going through the same thing in the future.)

Welcome to the forum!
I am assuming that he is doing OK after the surgery. When you say that he's pissed, do you mean he is avoiding you, seems unhappy, or is there some other behavior going on?
Thank you ron. yaeh hes avoiding me and even growing when i get close.
Wow... he DOES sound pissed!

Well, he's going through a lot of changes right now, the pain of the surgery is probably causing the growling, but there could be some hormonal changes, too.

Maybe a little something for the pain if his behavior doesn't improve in the morning, or overnight, or in a day... depending where you live.
Hi, I think I would be worried, my sheepdog was almost 2 before neutering, and he was more drowsy, he really showed no sign of pain or irritation. Can you get close and check the incision, make sure there is no swelling or redness, or any indication of infection? I would think if the growling is out of the ordinary that it is more than likely from pain.
If your vet is still open, you might try calling and getting something to help with the pain, if not call first thing in the morning. I am not sure how your vet charges things, but with my vet it would be free since it was a visit related to the neutering.
Good luck,
Stormi
thanks Guys. I was awaken this morning by brutus licking my face. That was really cool because hes never growled at me before and i was really worried.I think that he is back to normal, just not as playful. He did'nt want to play anything this morning like he always does. I just got home form the office so I'm about to take him for a walk and see how he does.
Awwwww... and Yay!
Don't push him---he really needs a full week before any real play time. Give him a chance to heal. The best you can do is get on the floor and love him!
