Happy First Birthday Clyde!
 
I can't believe he's one already. We're going to celebrate with a trip to PetSmart to pick out a toy, turkey burgers on the grill and then off to a new dog park where both grandmas are meeting us to give Clyde presents. It's nice how both my and James's mother have realized that Clyde and Lucy are their grandkids now! We'll take some party pictures and post them soon! Clyde will be the one in the party hat.

I hope your birthday party in the park is the best! Grandparents are the best...the boys' live far away but their grandad called today to talk to his grandpuppies, that's what he calls them!

Clyde had a great day for his birthday! 
We went to PetSmart where he and Lucy gots lots of attention. Most people couldn't believe he was only a year old. Then we went Grandma #1 and Buddy's house for a quick party, where Clyde got to wear his party hat and show everyone it was his birthday. Because Clyde has always shown an interest in magic and has always wanted to be a wizard, he got Harry Potter wizard birthday hats. Believe it or not, he loved wearing it and left his on the whole time we were at Grandma's. Then it was off to the dog park, where we met up with my mom (Grandma #2). Clyde played for about 2 hours and everybody conked out. My mom brought out a huge bag full of presents for Clyde-- toys, bones, treats-- you name it. Better yet, then she gave me presents. I didn't even expect anything for graduating again but she got me a nice watch and money. I love how mom still gifts me like I'm a kid! Since we were too lazy to fire up the grill, Lucy and Clyde got a birthday dinner of plain hamburgers. They were cool with it though. Here's some pictures of Clyde's pre-dog park party. I love my hat and no one else can be a wizard like me... 
Lucy was tired of Clyde pushing how cool his Harry Potter birthday hat was so she left the party to go outside. Clyde wanted to make sure she did not forget what a powerful wizard he was so he followed her. 
He'd had the party hat on for awhile and then I saw it in this picture. Somehow, the tiny bit poking out was really funny to me!  |

I think he would have looked good with his red eyebrows with that hat... I wanted to get a hat like that for Barney's birthday but ran out of time. I guess there's next year! |
