In my battle to quit smoking, I am temporarily avoiding all triggers...and the computer room which I smoked so frequently is one of my biggest hurdle. Thus I only read all the post and haven't contributed my comments as I did in the past. Please know that I am thinking of all of you, your children and of course the furballs . I almost feel rude that I haven't reponded that much to post other than the stop smoking ones. Sniff I still luv all of yah!! Marianne <<will return once room is painted. |

Good luck Marianne!! We're still thinking about you even though you're snubbing us!! We shall await your smokeless return.
Make sure you wash your walls before painting. All those layers of cigarette smoke residue can blead through paint! |
Good Luck Marianne!! |
Good luck Marianne!
Hope to see you posting again soon! |
We've missed you, too Marianne!
But, we understand and completely support your effort to quit smoking for good!! We're thinking of you and can't wait to have you back with us smoke-free!! |
GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!! We miss you!!!!!!!!!!! |

When I quit I almost had to make the computer room off limits too. If you don't want to wash the walls, just paint it fire engine red like I did. It required a red primer and 4 more coats-- nothing's bleeding through that! |
Was wondering where you were too...hope to see you soon. Good for you to be quiting, best of luck. |
I understand completely....Im just the opposite though...the computer keeps me from having a cigerette....I smoked outside.....just do what you have to do to break it....new habits will form and just remember :
IM PROUD OF YOU AND YOU ARE WINNING THIS FIGHT....ILL BE ABLE TO SMELL BOTH OF OUR PERFUMES |
Keep it up, Marianne! One day at a time. Looking forward to having you back with us smoke-free!

congrats on quitting smoking! I know it is not easy. I have only quit in the last couple months due to pregnancy. This is the first time I have "quit", no alternatives. I wish you the best of luck and I am sure you already have or will soon realize how much time you have now that you don't smoke:) It still amazes me sometimes when I think about it...lol! Way to go and good luck as you continue. It is a hard road! |
Good luck too you.I know you can do it tho. From your post I know you have a strong will too ya.Im sending ya my best wishes |
Ahhh -- that explains it! Have you thought about moving your computer? Give it some new associations. You are clearly missed by all! Hang in there!! |
