As for the cake, I do a lot of custom theme cakes. Weird stuff really, like swimming pools, dragons, etc. But one trick is, if it turns out bad, run to the florist and buy a bunch of edible flowers. There are all kinds of them. Pansies are a good one. Daisy's are edible too I think. Just take the flowers or flower petals and cover the ugly cake, mist it with a little water and lightly toss some sugar on the petals (the water makes it stick). Trust me, people will ooo and ahhh and never know you messed up. |

OMG...that's hilarious! I just dance like Barbie at weddings for attention...it's a great dance and I now get requests! I get an especially good response if the DJ has "I'm a Barbie Girl" song! That is such a great tip on the flowers! Are there any edible red colored flowers that you know of? Her bridesmaids are in red. Do you love how I'm just assuming that I'll need them?
