Buckley (who at 2 years old still has PLENTY of puppy energy) took off full speed across the yard, his hind legs slid out from underneath him and he slid into the fence. Of course he thought it was fun- jumped right back up and took off across the yard again Gracie the older, less energetic one, would stand in the middle of the yard and hop in circle every time Buckley would run through- They were so cute! Then of course they had to chase each other for awhile and stop to eat the snow so by the time they had worn themselves out they were a MESS I always joked that we needed to buy those Mukluk (sp?) boots for both of them, but here in OK it doesn't really snow enough to need them- Man was I re-thinking that decision as I was digging snow balls out of their paws Cindy (who swares- next spring this carpet is coming up and tile floor is going down!) & The Monsters |

Hello Gracie Girl,
We got a mix of rain, sleet, snow. It was just enough to make driving that night difficult. When we woke up the next morning there was a light dusting of white everywhere and so I took Jack and Annabelle out for their first look at it. Jack who notices even the slightest change stood there and barked at it. He would stop barking long enough to close his mouth and cock his head to the side looking rather puzzled. Annabelle took off running and looked as if she was kicking up her heels with excitement. Jack eventually walked slowly out there and would shake every leg to try and get the snow off of his feet. It was hilarious. After they did their business they came back in and later on Annabelle would go back out there, but Jack wouldn't go and later on he went and pooped in my son's room. I guess it is a good thing that us Okie's don't get much snow because I don't think Jack could stay potty trained if we did. Those Mukluk boots you speak of would be great for our spring showers though. We put in new carpet 3 weeks after we got Jack and I wish we would have thought of hardwood floors. Our carpet hates us if it isn't muddy dogs it is kids with flu or my absolute favorite hairballs. My cat's think that they should walk backwards when they have a nasty hairball so that the stain from the hairball can stretch from one room to another. I think animals and kids equal them selves out in the gross department sometimes. LOL. All of my husbands family live in Tulsa and that is where we married 7 years ago. It is a small sheepie world.
