| Barney decided to stay young at heart and not act mature on his Big Day. Both side gates were accidentally left open (I only knew about 1) so when I let him out yesterday he started walking towards the open gate that I knew about. I told him no, so he walks away from it and heads towards his pee area. This was blocked from my sight by the deck, so I walk up on the deck and oops, where's Barney! So I see that the other gate is open too so I run around and there he is...'socializing' with the neighbors and their dog ( a little guy). Barney was just sniffing him and leaping over him...so funny to watch--I'm not sure the neighbors found it as funny...Plus, they had a couple of toddlers and a stroller baby and Barney was just jumping away having a great time...No harm done... |

Chris, I was just hoping!!! that turning one would at least lead him a little closer to maturity! My parent's sheepdog (though much calmer in general that Barney) just turned 8 and she's finally starting to calm down more (although my parents just took in my little brother's cat, so that has brought a whole new spring in her step!) Darcy--Barney wanted me to tell Panda that now that he is over a year old he considers himself a man and will now proceed to woo Panda (he loves her eyes) and that The Gooch and any other suiter better watch out 'cause Barney's on the prowl! |

That is some sneaky sheepie work going on there. Gooch, this time you might have won, but it isn't over. Like Panda said, she's young and not ready to settle down... Bailey--Barney apologizes if he implied that Panda would lose the race if Barney didn't LET her win because she's a girl. He says he knows she is faster. He didn't want to disclose this at first, but he has bad hips and can't run as fast as he wants to, but with a little massage from Panda he says he'll be able to chase her all day long. |

We have no problems dangling those chick-magnets in front of your girlfriends!
