Happy Anniversary!
Yay Bob! |
Zahra, Bob is an Appendix Quarter Horse. His father was a Jockey Club registered Thoroughbred and his mamma was an AQHA registered Quarter Horse. I don't have an anniversary pic but in January I posted our Christmas pic. I think the thread is titled "me and my pony." He's 20 and is trained in dressage. He's having arthritis problems now so we've been taking it easy this summer, just doing trail rides and a little arena work.
He is not getting an anniversary cake but he will get his usual pound of carrots, apple and all the sugar cubes he can eat. Plus lots of kisses. |
Congrats, Paula and Bob! I remember the Christmas picture of you and Bob - he's very handsome!
So now that you're in your house, when does the sheepie come?? Chris |

Happy Anniversary to you and Bob....
I love horses too... I was a complete horse nut as a kid. I can't wait until we buy a place out in the country, one where I can have a horse! I've often thought about buying one and boarding it... but I'd rather have the whole experience to myself. |
AWWWWWWWWWWWWW.............this is so sweet .I just adore horses, they are so beautiful, and so powerful, but yet so gentle. When I was a kid I had a paint pony named Little Bit.She was my best buddy, she was a bit bigger than a pony, but not as big as my moms 1/4horse.As most of you have read my childhood was filled of about 90% abuse every day.My mom was the abuser, when I was oh 4th grade so i was 9,she wanted horses,my dad made sure that i was included too get one.I loved Little Bit so much.My mom always made me do all the poop picking up all by myself, clean the stables on my own at 9,feed the horses every AM and PM,and too her she was "making me do something I didnt want too do"but her putting her respindsibilites all on me,I LOVED it!!I never told her or let her know I did,for she would have put a stop too that.I remember going out in the pasture and sitting on Little Bits back while she grazed.Being down in miami it was hot 95% of the time,so i used too give her baths too cool her down and she loved it.Even when little bit would be lying down, she trusted me enough so I could lay right next too her,and feed her carrots, apples,or some other treat. Then one day I was in 7th grade, and I went home and MY Little Bit was gone.My "mom" told me she sold her because "I didnt deserve too have my own horse." Story of my life when I was a kid.I think it is so beautiful the LOVE you have for your beautiful Bob.I wish you 2 MANY more yrs of healthy, happy, love.Happy Anniversary!!! |
