| It sounds like skin allergies. You can try an oatmeal bath or some anti-itch sprays for temporary relief but I think you might consider finding another vet that will better identify the problem and treat it properly. My older dog has dog eczema and just started itching a lot in the last few days. We usually take her to the vet and he puts her on predisone for a few days to calm her skin down otherwise, she too yanks her hair out. |
| Oatmeal baths are a good suggestion.
There are OTC cortizone creams, too, if you can identify the itchy spots and put it on his skin, it will give temporary relief. I agree that you need another opinion from a different vet. Good luck & let us know how he does!  |
