Drooling? Clyde stained his paws a little red from drooling and as it grows out it looks a little pink where it lightens up toward the root. |
drool goes down...this gets bigger as it goes from under her neck up to her ear...I may have to keep her from sleeping on her back if it is drool....lol... |
It might be the raw hide bone. I noticed alittle stain on Beau's ear. I think it was from chewing on the raw hide. However, I think I could enter him in a contest for the dirtiest beard! |
When I got Maggie her paws were pink; I thought she had some kind of an infection or wound on her paws. The next day when I took her to my vet for her initial exam he right a way said she was doing a lot of licking of her paws, perhaps out of nervousness and the discoloration was due to the acidic nature of the saliva. With her gradual adjustment to our laid back environment it has disappeared. |
You know what? The raw-hide is a good answer!!!! She chews on it a little bit every night...and its the big one..if she falls asleep on top of it, well, it could be it....by jove I think youve got it!!! |
it might be the collar even though it is black it may have some red die init. run it under some cold water and see if it bleeds. Good luck |
It couldnt be the collar...its been washed at least 40x's by now and its over a year and a half old.....I was watching her...I think its her white sherpie baby....after she sucks on it and falls asleep, she tucks it underneath her chin, kinda like a pillow...and the baby has a pink tinge to it too....who knew that their salvia was sooooo potent.... |
I bet she is so cute sleeping on her baby. |
