Thoughts on the line??? Thanks. |

Definitely one of the top winningest lines in the country- I've talked with the breeder, Jere is great gal! Gorgeous, gorgeous dogs!!! Tests for health issues... Get in contact with Tarja Peters at OESCRAZY2@YAHOO.COM She is the puppy reference person for the breed club, and can give you more information!
Karen PS- If you get a Lambluv dog, I'll be jealous! I love those dogs!!! |
I know that some of our members have Lambluv dogs. Perhaps they'll "bark in" with an opinion! |
Arf Arf (I'm Barking in.)
Lambluv is an amazing line. They are amazingly successful, have finished 28 plus champions to date. (I'm sure there are more now, those stats are a bit old!) She's taken the breed at Westminster at least twice and has done well in the Eukenuba tournaments as well. One of her dogs is the top producing and winning OES of all time and she currently has 2 dogs in the top twenty, one of which has been number one and has a shot at being number one again this year. In case you haven't seen the website it's www.lambluv.com there are lots of pics and a history of the kennel there as well. I absolutely love my Lambluv dog! Beyond the fact that he is an amazing breed type and moves beautifully, his personality is incredible. OES are naturally clowns but he is exceedingly funny. (His latest antic is falling off the couch. Apparently he doesn't understand spacial relations yet.) If you get some of the names off of the Lambluv site and take them to the OFA cite http://www.offa.org/search.html you can check for records on hips and eyes. (You should always do your own research on health. No matter what anyone says or the research they have done you may find something that doesn't sit well with you or maybe something that no one else noticed. It will also help you to know that you've made the proper decision when it comes to the quality of dog you are getting.) As with any living creature, there can be problems, they don't make them perfect everytime. The example that I can give is my dog, Toby, is undershot which means that his bite is off. It may correct and it may not. It's not detrimental to his health or activity at all. He still plays, and tugs and nips, oh boy does he nip! He's found out that nipping is a good attention getter, typical puppy. It also makes it a little messier when he drinks water but it's not a problem for him. You can contact Jere through her website. Her e-mail and phone number are there. I know that she has been away a lot lately so give any correspondence a little bit of time. If you'd like to PM me with any questions, feel free to. |
I would LOVE to have a Lambluv dog! If you do get one I'll be jealous too, and you'll have to post TONS of pics!!! LOL |
Tiny correction, my e-mail is: oescrazy2@yahoo.com
