They are beautiful! What a charming photo! Can't wait to hear more -- including whether they are similar to your past OESs. Congratulations!! |

Aren't they just precious??!! How utterly adorable! Congratulations! |
Thanks to everyone! They can be little stinkers for sure.
Years ago when our children were small we bought our first OES's, Flora Belle and Spohie, we showed Flora for several years. We bred her to Bahlambs Beach Boy in 1979 and had 6 beautiful puppies; Belle, Jeb, Marshall, Annie, Abby and Olivia!!!!!! They have all gone to Rainbow Bridge after many rewarding years with them. We decided to do this again so our grandsons could have that same experience as our own children did. Call us CRAZY!! ha I am happy to say that not much has changed with the breed at all, so some people are doing the breed justice. In reading all the wonderful posts, all the antics and behaviors are so similiar to those of many years ago. Thanks to all who have done such a good job with this wonderful breed. I plan to post more as we go along, and I will be sure to tell all the crazy things they do, including the holes they have dug already in the yard!!!!! |
They are toooooo cute!!!! Enjoy the babies!!!! |
They are beautiful I love the names, if I ever got another girl I was going to name her Ivy. No fair though, you're going to create more puppy fever |
Two at one time is a challenge, trying to get them to respond to their names and guessing who has done their outside duties and who hasn't. They look so similiar, and are extremely close in size. Have to always check the ear markings. We plan to get them into a puppy class shortly.
Of course today it rained here and they found all the mud right away. Love sheepies and rain!! Thanks again for all the congrats! |
How well I know I have 2 8 y/o and 2 almost 7 y/o. We got ours 2 at a time, double trouble but twice the fun.
I hope Jill doesn't see how cute your puppies are, she already has puppy fever |
They are so, so adorable! OES puppies are just the cutest! I wish there was a miniature variety where they stayed small like that - lol |
Those are 2 of the cutest puppies I've ever seen! |
Those are 2 adorable OES' that I'm sure will be a handful of fun and crazy days. haha My breeder just had some pups and they look a lot alike (markings). |

Have you seen the Coton De Tulear? |
Oh, but I think you are A bigger house....why would you need that |
Very cute, i love that you adopted sisters so they can stick together! |
Hello and welcome!
Those are the cutest things! Congratulations! |
WELCOME WELCOME!!! What a precious pair!! Can't wait to hear the stories and see the pictures! |
Thanks to all once again for the congrats and good luck. I think I need it..ha
They keep me going, but are doing good for the most part. They certainly don't like being seperated. Lilly is very attached and the first few nights we let them sleep in the same crate, but they look like they needed more space so we put them in seperate ones, and Ivy had no problem, but Lilly cried and whimpered for about 15 minutes. Now they are fine. Glad that didn't go on and on. I think house training will be more challenging!!! Trying to get them both out quickly and to go at the same time. Seems we are in and out constantly. I know that will settle down, it is just I am much older than when we had our other OES's, and kids are gone so I can't tell them to let them out. ha |
welcome! your girls are gorgeous, they have the cutest little black noses! |
Hi Cherie! Yeah- you posted Ivy & Lilly on the web. I cannot imagine two right now. Bogart is great, but a handful.
I find myself putting him on my lap to read eamils-Ha! I showed him the pics of your two sheepies- wondering if he remembered them from being with them at the breeder. We took many pics and some video while we were there picking out Bogart- I let him listen to it ocassionally. Back to sheepie playtime |
Are these new babies from Ithaca N.Y.?
They are adorable! Congrats and you are so lucky to have gotten 2 littermates. How fun! |

I am in New Orleans.
I was just wondering if the new babies were from Rick Tacco in Ithaca,N.Y. He shows and has wonderful bloodlines. |
I'm not "up" on OES, but I'll have to see if I can find out who and where he is!! |
Yes they are from Rick, in Ithaca, New York. Wendy on this forum also has one from him, we missed each other during the pick-up process, but glad we can stay in touch through the forum.
We had a long way to go to get them, but they are adorable. We didn't want to show anymore like we did back in the late 70's early 80's. Too many things going on with our lives and children. We missed having an OES so much, and after all this time just want to have companions, for us and our grandsons. The girls took the ride back to Wisconsin just wondefully. I thought it would be a disaster, but they slept in the motor home on the couch all the way! No whimpering at all, and no messes. Lucky I would say. |
What!! all these adorable pups right here in Ithaca under my very nose and I did not know Amazing!!! Makes me feel like they are almost "kin" |
Yes they are right under your nose in Ithaca...ha
You will have to take a drive and visit his place. The girls are a handful, two at a time to train is challenging, but they are doing pretty good for the most part. They are just babies, but they sure can find the things to get into, digging holes, (like that is anything new for sheepies) and stealing stones from the landscaping, you name it they can find it and get into it. We have had more phone calls and company then we had at Christmas!!!!!! |
