Good girl! It's sad when they're scared and you can't do anything about it so it's great when nothing phases them! |
Valerie-
What a good girl Chumley is! It can really frighten them (let alone us!) We had a thunderstorm about a week ago, right overhead . Bogart started softly crying, so I kept him company and he quieted down. I'm sure all the dog behavior books would say not to do that, but he was awake and scared. So was I for that matter The previous storm, lightening had hit a house in the area.... |
Yes the last storm Panda tried to hide under me...lol...last night I woke up 3 x's...once she was caught chewing on a lamb leg bone(I was too lazy to take out the trash..silly me)....didnt sound like her raw hide..that was at 12:30....a loud Bang woke me up at 3...Panda flipping herself on her back and crashed into the shower door...I dont think it was really loud, but at a sound sleep it sure sounded like it..then at 5 am to go outside and then I got up at 6:30 to take her for a walk....she scares me with her night time antics more than a thunderstorm scares her!! I think I like the t-storms, at least she stays right next to me and I dont have to worry about her night time roaming....lol.. |
Beau is 9 months old today. We celebrated over the weekend by going to the bark in the park function and Petco, to get his chest and underneath shaved down and some snausages as a special treat. This is a trail, for his big shaving down later in October.
When I told people at the function that he was 9 months old, they said I wonder how much bigger he's going to get. Mollie was a womping 95 lbs. and taller than Beau. I think Beau is around 73 lbs. and I don't think he'll get much taller. He just looks huge because of all that fur. I can't wait for the sheepiefest, to meet everyone. |
