| Thank you all for your well wishes. Bogart is a great little boy and growing. He has been really good, just a few accidents, but coming right along with the potty training. He and my husband are downstairs sleeping right now. He tires us out That's good- I need to shed some pounds Check for pics- I will try to get some out there today or tonight.
One question...should you free water with a puppy or only give him water at meal times? I pick up this bowl around 8pm, and he is fine in the crate, but he drinks and pees a lot during the day. I have his first vet appt. tomorrow night. Just wondering your experiences. Thanks! |

We got our pup last spring, and the summer was very hot and humid (like this year). I always had water available, one dish by our back door and one dish in the kitchen for him. I also picked up his dish at 8-830 pm. In the beginning he had to go out once/night. But within weeks, he slept through the night ,
and I would take him out at 6 am. Sounds like he is doing well with housetraining ! Good luck at the vets office (watch the reaction when you tell the staff and other pet owners his name!) |

Why did you name him Bogart? Because of Humphrey Bogart? When Lennon was a pup, he was a peeing machine. We removed the water bowl after he drank his last around 8:30 or so, and during the first months I had to take him out once during the night. Eventually he could hold it all night long and had to be taken out early.... He stays like that

| Thanks all! Let's see- the name Bogart....I think I just pulled it from a puppy naming website and it stuck. Since we had from Feb to Aug to pick a name waiting for Bogart to be ready to come home- I had a long time to get ready with his name.
Thanks for the water advice. He is really doing great at letting us know when he needs to go out....and having few accidents in the house. |

Lol. I plan to take home whatever ones I like at Sheepiefest. I'll apologize in advance for anyone's dog that I'll be forced to steal. However, take solace in the fact that Clyde and I will be driving up in the Mini so I'll only be able to fit one or two depending on size!  |

Since I'll be going dogless(no time to go all the way home to pick one up  ) I'll have LOTS of room for 6-8 dogs, depending on size and without crates Toby can't be that big |
