Our personal emergency siren
The first time he howled was when the monthly tornado sirens were tested. Chester started howling, which brought me rushing to the patio, thinking he had hurt himself. it was quite hilarious after I figured out that he was howling in response to the sirens. I've also since observed that he would start howling within a minute of hearing any emergency siren!!  |

Buckley our 18 mth old rescue does the same thing! Whether it's the tornado sirens or emergency vehicles, he'll run to the back door and howl like crazy  We still laugh everytime
