Thursday night my daft boy Hector snuck up behind me as i took a step backwards and did the sheepie shove. The end result me going down like a sack of spuds with my back taking major muscle damage. Missed the easter weekend completely even some major pain kilers and muscle relaxants don't seem to be doing the trick. Poor boy seems very nervous near me now and really does not like walking sticks as he keeps barking at them. So be aware very aware of the Assasin Dog! |

Oh nooo Mark!! Are you going to be okay? Getting better at all? Did you see your vet? |
Managed to drag my self to the doctor's yesterday (u able to get in or out of car yet) painkillers not really touching it, doctor has arranged x-ray for me has I have significant osteoporosis in my spine and hips, fingers crossed it's just muscular! Hector is fine, bouncy as always with my wife but very subdued near me, couldn't be worse timing I was about to dematt him, may well end up with the clippers by the time I am right! |
Joan was walking Tenny on July 4th last summer and long story short he pulled her down and she shattered her hip which was surgically rebuilt the next day and a couple of weeks in the hospital/rehab before coming home to bed. It's been a long 10 months and she's still in pain and walking with a limp. On the other hand, if you're going to shatter your hip, might as well do it while locked down for covid. Killed two birds with one confinement. I hope your ordeal goes a lot better and quicker! |
