I know I havent been here in a while - I do stop by from time to time. As some of you guys know, we lost London to cancer 3 years ago which was tough on all of us. It was so sudden and unexpected. Our second sheepie, Tony (one of Kaye's miracle babies), who is 12 and may be ill. His lymph nodes are swollen - at first the vet thought maybe it was cancer so she tested the fluid and it was negative (tested two separate times). He was on antibiotics which shrunk the nodes but as soon as he went off from it- the lump grew back bigger than ever. We just had Tony in for biopsy and am waiting for results. Has anyone ever experienced a growth in the lymph nodes but wasn't cancer? or ended up being cancer even though the aspiration test was negative? |

I can't answer your question, but wanted to let you that I will be keeping everything crossed for you that it ends up being something simple and easily treated. |
Do hope it does turn out to be a simple thing. |
hey everyone- posting in case another lurker is looking for answers to something similar. The lump turned out to be cancer and we decided not to have Tony go thru chemo because of his failing hips... we knew that the chemo would attack his joints first. He was on steroids along with CBD supplements.. We truly believed the CBD oil prolonged his life by 3 more months. He had the lump since May but didnt get treated until September (tests were negative until we had the biopsy in August). Tony passed away in November and it was so so hard. We found Tony through this forum -- he was one of Kaye's miracle babies. |
I'm so sorry to learn of your loss of Tony. |
Yes, sorry to hear the news. xx hug xx |
