No more tracking me wherever I go. No more tracking with whom I'm on the phone. No more watching me surf the web. It freed up nearly ONE GIGABYTE of storage space as an added benefit. Bye bye, Facebook. I don't need a stalker like you in my life. THAT SAID... I can still log in with my phoen's web browser (Chrome) if I want. Next is to get rid of android and google spying.... wish me luck on that! hahahaa I suppose I'd have to ditch my phone first and that's not going to happen for a while.... and download all of my photos from the google online backup. I'm tired just thinking about it. |

How much extra time do you have in your day now? Did you find yourself a bit twitchy initially? |
Ron, You only deleted it from your phone, right? You still have it on your computer, right? |
I have about 60 friends on FB but I have it set so that I have to go to their page. My feed is stuff about cats, horses, and Scotland. Nothing much interesting, but I was able to track down someone I needed to see. |
I still use Facebook, but not with their application. I use a regular web browser. My phone's battery lasts about twice as long now, too. Big improvement in performance. The Facebook and Messenger apps were killing my phone so they could sell my info to advertisers who want to sell me things. Such as new phones. |

Well done. Can't do away with FB as daughter does most days something about "my" twins on there so if I want to receive the photos etc I need to be on FB on laptop only. xx |
