K-dog Kensie

Just dropping by to say in a few days we will celebrate Kensie's 4th Gotcha Day. She's been a love, the most vocal sheepdog....to her humans. If I'm not making dinner, I get chewed out as she misses licking her "pot." If I try to sleep in, I get barked at for not getting up and feeding her.........peanuts. She's already had her dog food breakfast but expects me to hand feed her dry roasted peanuts.

To continue her food centered life, when we come home with a treat for her, she knows where she'll receive it by the name: sopapilla means she'll eat it outside and runs out the door. Dog cookie is living room. Bone is on her mat in the kitchen. I have no clue what the difference is as long as it's not the furniture.

She received her "greyhound" cut, #3 blade. Now she's showing a winter's worth of treats.

I love it! ...and if you don't hand feed thm?
Every morning at my breakfast (after Sprocket has had his) he sits on floor next to me and grumbles until I put a hand on him-don't have to stroke him just touch. If I am to slow or want to use that hand to pick up my tea I get a very loud grumble. When done he trots off to wherever he wants to be. xx
Ron, if I don't hand feet her she gets her nose under either my left arm as I raise my coffee cup or my left breast and flips her head up. If I still ignore her and guard myself, her paw comes up to my thigh and with her overly long nails, she digs in.

The paw is her desperate plea. It is also used to indicate she needs outside, but only after a full body slam against the chair; after all, she is a sheepdog.
Hehehehe, Sprocket is so food with the head under the arm while holding a hot drink. He is our 4th oes and they have all done the same antics as if one is watching and passing on what to do to the next one. xx
