URGENT~~~~~URGENT~~~~URGENT~~~~ Our 10 week old lil Wynn has taken to OBSESSING about poor Willow's top knot rubber bands~~PLEASE understand, at home, this is NOT a fashion statement, but a mandatory accessory to Willow's eyesite!!!!!! MY WORRY?????....Not only am I constantly checking the baby's mouth for the elusive band and praying I don't have to go halfway down her throat to retrieve it...~~~~ I THEN~~~ must go find another band to put BACK in her hair!!!! I have many styles and colors of rubber bands, but they ARE her fashion statements when we are out in public!!! I am running out of the boring mundane yucckkky colored bands that I used for at home..(picture yourself staying in your jammies ALLL day~~what do you look like?????? well, that is what me AND Willow look like on our 'down' days!!! ) Suggestion????? COMMENTs?????????????????? EXPERIENCES???????????????? ARE ALL WELCOME...... Laughter.....snickering........rude and dry humored posts, NEED NOT RESPOND!!!!!!! ((( UNLESS~~they are REALLY funny)))) |

You could go and "search" for the eaten bands to replemish your stock? May need a pair of gloves for that job. C an you spray the band with something that baby won't like the taste or smell of once you have it in place on Willow's head? perfume? xx |
I went to a department store and checked out the hair section for little girls. I found tiny little (just fit round the tip of my pinkie) stretch silicone bands in all colors, there's 50 odd in the pack. The silicone is stretchy but isn't supposed to make as many split ends or pull as much. Bebe hasn't mentioned if this is true though. They're so little that puppies don't notice them and if they do pull out by accident when they're rough housing, I mean playing lovingly together, there's no harm done 'cause they're so small. I'm sure you must be able to get them over there but you don't have a BigW supermarket and I didn't keep the pack for the brand and you probably don't have the same brand anyway. |
Thanks for the suggestions: And I will certainly look into getting smaller bands~ I hesitate to put anything on the bands, since Wynn is only 10 weeks old and I wouldn't want her getting sick from them, but smaller bands would be something I hadn't thought of. Will keep you posted on her progress!! |
