Sorry, no help here, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was the heat. Bentley MUCH prefers to be inside.
I hope it IS just the heat. Give Luke a hug from me and tell him it won't last forever. |
When GG was doing that I got some bloodwork done and it turned out he had elavated liver enzymes. After taking away all treats and food, we found that it must have been the pigs ears I was giving him. After some research I had done, it seems as though pigs ears are so mass produced now, that they are not cleaned very well and can cause this in some "sensitive tummies". Needless to say, no more of those for Guc!
Just a thought! Colleen and Gucci George |
Yes, my guys can get a bit "loose" in the heat. They are drinking more water and it doesn't always go out as urine. Also all the heat and panting is stressful. I change their feeding time to a cooler part of the day, keep them in after eating and reduce the amount of food I give. They aren't running around as much and don't need the extra calories. |
Dancer's barfing up her water every day.... yuck, slimey, and I stepped in it and almsot fell yesterday. I think it's the heat. We have A/C but when it gets over 100 it has a hard time keeping up. |
All is well, Luke is back to as normal as he gets I do think it was just the heat. |
